It’s your friendly neighbourhood photog here to explain what I DON’T promise to do for you for your session!
Getting into the world of photography initially had me thinking that it was all about just taking the picture. Well, there is SO much more to it than that. A lot of these sessions are important milestones, important to the family having them done, or have a huge emotional impact. I see this a lot with Boudoir and it’s extremely important that I creative a positive experience for all.
Here’s what I DON’T promise to do for you:
- Have you walk away feeling like you didn’t know what you were doing. I am a strong believer in posing. Whether you want something candid or more styled, posing is always key! I’m not as worried about the images being spot on, but more so about you having confidence during our time together. Providing full posing and direction is going to give you that and I’ll show you that anybody can rock a session with me!
2. Have you look your worst. You are talking to the queen of awkward here and I know what it’s like to walk into a session completely blind and not feeling great about my wardrobe choices. That’s why I’ve created guides for all of my sessions to help with your wardrobe choices, whether it’s the colour or styling of them, or the sizing, I’ve got you covered! Still not too sure? You are always welcome to ask for assistance I would love to help you out!
- Make you uncomfortable. If you follow me on social media, you know I am a huge advocate for being safe and comfortable during your session. Creating a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all is SO important!! I strongly feel that you should always do your research first, picking a photographer that you trust. My studio space is welcoming and I make sure to be in contact with my clients well before their session date so they know who they are trusting their session with.
Photography has evolved from just simply taking a picture to me and has transformed into creating an experience. One that my clients are comfortable and confident with. I want you to love your photos, but also love the experience as well!
