[Kingston ON Photographer]
Samantha and Dryden’s magical engagement session is fresh on the blog today!!
We hit the road and headed off to beautiful Kananaskis country for their session and it was 100% worth it! We thankfully dodged bad weather, high winds, and big crowds at every location and were able to shoot everything without issue.
Our first stop was Grotto Canyon, hiking on a frozen river to reach the frozen waterfall at the back of the trail and Samantha navigated the whole thing while wearing her gorgeous gown!
The sun made an appearance and really made the red stand out against the ice. Both Samantha and Dryden were total champs and were so great to work with the entire time.
After hiking our way back down to the parking lot it was time to hit the road again to shoot at our next location! This time we were on a frozen lake and if you’ve never been on a frozen lake before you will definitely hear it cracking and shifting in the cold. Samantha and Dryden were totally fine but I was a total baby when it came to the sounds so kudos to them for being patient during the session.
Ha Ling Peak acted as our background for the second half and it was such a beautiful spot to shoot at – thanks Samantha and Dryden for having me along to capture these photos for you!
Are you looking to have your own engagement session or couples session done? My books for Kingston, ON will be opening in August 2022!
