Welcome to my Kingston boudoir studio! Today is a very special blog, featuring the lovely Leslie!

Leslie was our big giveaway winner from back in July and she is so courageous and her story is definitely one you’ll want to hear. This is what she said:

“In the last 10 years my life has been kind of up and down. I lost my mother just months before my 30th birthday and things have not been the same since. I lost a part of me that day. I was diagnosed with MS in 2019 and had weight-loss surgery June 2022. I choose to do the boudoir session so I could remind myself that I am worth it and that I am me, that it doesn’t matter where life has taken you, you deserve to treat yourself no matter what that may be.

My shoot experience was incredible. Jackie makes you feel so comfortable , you don’t think about anything else like “do I look okay”, “did I wear the right outfit”, ” Am I going to mess up?”, etc. None of those things cross your mind. You experience this boost of confidence like nothing before. Jackie was amazing, which helped so much. I can’t pick out one specific thing as my favourite as the whole experience was wonderful, beginning to end.

Since losing over 100 lbs, it’s hard to really see your progress in every day life. I mean you see the changes but don’t really notice how big of a change it really is. I looked amazing and felt amazing and my images proved that. So very difficult to choose your favourites though!

Everyone should experience this at least once. I am a confident person, I always have been. Doing a boudoir session gives you a boost of confidence that you have never felt before. I felt impowered, beautiful, sexy and so much more. I lived in the moment and gave it my all and it turned out amazing!

Don’t wait for the “oh I should lose weight first, I shouldn’t because of this or that.” Just do it. You will 100% not regret it! If you wait to long you will never do it, so I suggest just going for it. You will feel incredible emotions and confidence like never before. You are worth it and deserve to do this for yourself.”
