One of my absolute favourite sessions to photograph are engagement sessions! 

Engagement sessions are a wonderful, stress-free way to have your photos done together before the big day arrives. 

Some fun ideas to consider for your engagement session are: 

1. Shooting at your favourite spot together.

Do you have a special park you like to visit? Or hiking trails? It could even be your favourite pub or store. Sentimental places always add extra meaning to the session and if it’s not possible to get there on the wedding day itself, the best time is now!

2. Incorporating your favourite activity.

This is so easy to do and a great way to add some fun to your session 🙂 Think: bike riding, your favourite sport, going for ice cream, video games, etc. If you’re wanting to avoid the more traditional set of engagement photos, this is the perfect thing to do!

3. In-home session.

Are the both of you more homebodies than adventurers? In-home sessions are a super relaxed and candid way to have your session done. Some great ideas for these are cuddling on the couch, making cookies (do expect a mess here), reading, etc.

If you recently became engaged and are in the Kingston, Ontario area (or Ontario in general) then I am so excited to announce that I will be relocating to Kingston in June 2022! My books will be open as of August 1st 2022 and I will be taking on engagement sessions and weddings.
